Parkside Bed and Breakfast, Much Marcle

Parkside is a part-sixteenth century house in a quiet lane on the southern edge of Much Marcle. The house sits in a garden of nearly two acres, opposite a farm with its Hereford cattle on one side of the house and the parkland of Homme House on the other.

Places to Go
Much Marcle is
an interesting village in South Herefordshire between the market towns of Ledbury and Ross on Wye, with easy access to the M50 and to the M4 via the A417. We are in the heart of apple and cider country here with many old orchards and three cider producers, and the village hosts the apple celebration The Big Apple every autumn. Much Marcle has a fine and fascinating Jacobean house (unique in Herefordshire), Hellens, less than a mile from Parkside, there is a walk commemorating the Dymock poets nearby, and we can lend you bikes to explore the lanes. The Church of St Bartholomew is one of Herefordshire’s finest.

Within less than an hour’s drive you can visit the Welsh Borders, the Cathedral cities of Hereford, Gloucester and Worcester, the Cotswolds, the Shropshire Hills, the Forest of Dean, the Malvern Hills, and Herfordshire’s beautiful black and white villages.
